back to list

ADIL, an Aberdeen consultancy providing management support to the energy industry, is looking to expand overseas after nearly trebling annual turnover in just two years.
It expects turnover to hit £11.5million this year, compared with £4.5million in 2009.
Adil used this week's Offshore Europe oil show in Aberdeen to build overseas links and seek out new opportunities to further its expansion at home and abroad.
Growth in the past year alone has boosted the company's workforce from 30 to nearly 100 people to support increased demand for its fielddevelopment expertise and consultancy work.
The firm - launched in 2006 - has also invested more than £1.2million in new offices and IT systems in Aberdeen plus a new operation in London.
In two years it has won contracts worth more than £15million, covering various projects in the UK continental shelf. The work ranges from subsea tiebacks to a greenfield-development project west of Shetland and Adil is managing several field developments with an associated capital investment of more than £1billion.
Further progress is expected over the next two years, particularly overseas.
Adil has staff supporting projects in the Netherlands, Romania, China and the Middle East.
